Location

The village of Holton St Mary is situated just off the A12 along the B1070 to Hadleigh. Holton St Mary has about 200 residents, many of whom have lived here for many years.

Holton St Mary is well situated for visiting 'Constable Country', the small area along the valley of the River Stour including East Bergholt and Flatford on the Suffolk side and Dedham and Langham on the Essex side.

Millennium Green

This is a large area of communal green space which is behind the Church. 

The Church

St Mary's Church is located in Church Square which is by the Phone Box. More information here

Sports and Social Club

Various events are held throughout the year. See Quartet for details.

Village Hall

The Village Hall is used for Sports and Social Club events, parties etc. and is for hire by local residents. Please contact Tanya Kunz on 01473 823886 for further information.

The Well Piece Community Garden

Established in 2025, the Well Piece Community Garden is now up and running.  Regular gardening meetings are on a Tuesday morning and there's lots more going on throughout the year too.  More information here
